I've switched to rechargeable batteries and have been quite satisfied. 2 pairs of AAs have lasted at least 10 times longer than their cousins and are still going strong.</div><div><br></div><div>Also, I have found a place in Onleyville that recycles all manner of small appliances and electronics. Nice people running a very admirable operation. Believe it's called the Green Turtle. I'm willing to make a run out there 1X/mos. w/ a full trunk if people are interested.
