<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" ><tr><td valign="top" style="font: inherit;">Regardless of where you stand on this race, I suggest you consider<br>my comments to Mark Binder this morning in response to his <br>campaign E-Mail. We all benefit from clarity and accuracy in the <br>statements by any political candidate, not unsupported attacks.<br>I know of no proven "corruption" by Gordon Fox.<br>****************************************************************************<br><div>
Mark,</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
I suggest you be cautious in how you frame your allegations:</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
"a 20 year politician and one of the key players in the 38 Studios
Disaster. As House Speaker, he's the guy who blocked payday lending
reform despite the fact that 50 State Reps co-sponsored the bill. He
smashed together the Board of Higher Ed and the Board of Regents in a
late night vote. And he wouldn't even call for a vote on marriage
equality, because he might lose".</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
These actions can be criticized, and do include political strategizing,</div>
<div>
but they by no means prove "This sort of corruption" by Fox. Likewise,</div>
<div>
McCauley's guilty plea does not indite anyone but himself. I think <br>38 Studios was a big mistake, but is not a sign of criminal behavior.<br>(And, hindsight is 20-20).<br></div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
Just a suggestion that you stick to provable statements - and the</div>
<div>
differences in policy and proposed actions between you and the</div>
<div>
incumbent.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
Blessings,</div>
<div>
</div>
