all,

I sat outside at Three Sisters last Wednesday around 6 pm, as the
farmer's market was winding up. I'm sorry to report that I saw several
near-tragedies at the crosswalk at the very start of Blackstone Blvd, just
past the triangle at Hope and Chace. Drivers traveling south on Hope St
typically speed up when bearing left onto the Blvd, to avoid oncoming traffic.
They're going pretty fast when they arrive--almost immediately--at the first
crosswalk, which they don't notice ahead of time. It seems certain that
someone is going to get mowed down there at some point.

Karen
Chace
