different though, in the standardization or lack thereof of each act. Laypeople such as myself have never even heard of "digest" form. All the while, I and I'm sure many others are being viewed as rude and we don't even know what you're talking about. I get an email and I respond... frankly, I've gotten some "digest" responses and didn't know what the heck they were but I didn't automatically think someone was being rude, wasteful or illogical.<br>

many of us don't customize our mailboxes, we're not techies... we get mail, we respond to mail and some of us enjoy having the threads attached as much as some of you don't.<br>

i mean really, intolerable? us low-tech dopes unknowingly including threads is making your effort-free communication intolerable? let's get some perspective here. illiteracy is intolerable, cancer is intolerable, poverty is intolerable, long emails???<br>
