</div><div><br></div>I can think of many reasons to drive the route that you describe. I used to take that route when going to my mother's house in Pawtucket - it avoids the traffic on Hope. I often take unusual routes to pass by parts of the neighborhood for a variety of reasons - to look at gardens to get ideas for my own, to notice houses that are for sale or rent, to see what a nice neighborhood I am part of, etc. To me, it borders on vigilante - ism to assume that people cannot do anything in a different way without being up to something suspicious. <br>
<br></div>If you think someone might be lost, an offer to help them would let them know that someone is aware of their presence in the neighborhood and might elicit the reason for behavior that seems unusual to you.<br><div>

Driving back from the supermarket a few minutes ago, I noticed a teal colored Ford pickup meandering down Brewster then right down 8th street, then taking a left onto Hope st. Nobody drives from Summit ave to Hope st that way unless they're lost or looking for a score.</p>
<p dir="ltr">I wouldn't have thought much of it had he not been stopping at every intersection...stop sign or not. It might be nothing, but he might also be casing the neighborhood. Just fyi.</p><p dir="ltr">Emlyn</p>

Maybe it's the former criminal prosecutor in me but I'm not sure about that. These guys were clearly casing the house and attempting a B&E, I just wish the police had responded more quickly. We are all just going to need to keep a look out and call it in when we see it. They've been successful so they will definitely strike again.<br>
