<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_extra">Hi Folks, sorry to hear of all the bizarre doings and encounters of late. Weirdness is definitely flying lately, and that is an understatement. Since there's been talk of our local mentally ill, just wanted to opine that the guy whose been described on this list as potentially violent does NOT seem to be our other local schizophrenic, the guy who walks up and down Hope St several times a day. The guy I'm describing is maybe 5'8", solid build, brown hair and beard which is often long (it grows out and then gets shorn, and he can have a Grizzly Adams look at times). This guy has been around for decades and I've never seen him violent or even seen him engage with anyone. He often is ranting, sometimes yelling and gesturing wildly, or sometimes in more of a walking catatonia, but he always (so far) just walks on by. I don't want people to be scared of him by default though his behavior is obviously bizarre. </div><div class="gmail_extra"><br></div><div class="gmail_extra">On another note, I hear that Monarch butterfly count in Mexico has tripled since last year. Hope springs... Ellen on Mayflower.</div></div>
