<p>We need a new gas boiler. Does anyone have any recent experience or recommendations for plumbers who do replacements? We have used Gas Doctor in the past, but it's under new management and not great. We have a quote of 7-8K from Emergency Response Plumbing.

 (Also: why does our boiler always manage to go on the fritz on the worst possible days?)</p>
