If you want to grow most vegetables and flowers, you need 6+ hours of direct sun per day minimum, and most prefer 10-12. It’s not ok to my mind for folks to take land little kids need to run around on, because many families don’t have yards of their own, to create garden plots unless you are starving. It’s *really* not ok to cut back shade trees needed to keep the playground cool and comfortable because of your ill-advised garden project. <div><br></div><div>There are plenty of other already sunny places you can garden in.
