Like many of you, we've been dealing with water in the basement over the past few months. <br class="">

One new suggestion, for what it's worth: We had someone come by yesterday who recommended replacing the gutters with wider ones. The theory is that narrow gutters overflow more easily in a heavy rain, and then the water flows down the sides of the house. <br class="">

So question 1: Does this make sense, and in particular, has anyone tried it?<br class="">

Question 2: This company is also arguing that we need to replace all of the siding on our house. They may be right -- it's 40-50 years old -- but this is a big-ticket item. Does anyone know anything about this company? It's called "Power" (<a href="https://powerhrg.com/" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank" class="">https://powerhrg.com/</a>). <br class="">
