<div dir="ltr"><div><div>Hello Friends &amp; Neighbors,</div><div><br></div><div>At the governor&#39;s press conference yesterday/Tuesday</div><div>which included plowing reports,</div><div>he mentioned it would be &quot;a while&quot; before side streets were done.</div><div>He said plow drivers had worked around the clock at that point,</div><div>and needed a short break . . . then they would be hard at it again.</div><div>There was a lot of even major stuff not done yet.</div><div><br></div><div>I now live in Pawtucket and we are the same.</div><div>The only few small streets plowed, and those one lane only,</div><div>are streets commonly used by fire &amp; ambulance.</div><div><br></div><div>It is frustrating!! yes,  but understandable if you think about it.</div><div>The main streets require snow REMOVAL</div><div>There is no way the volume of snow from two or three lanes can be just pushed aside.</div><div>Not to mention piles already there from before.</div><div><br></div><div>Filling trucks and taking it away is slow going.</div><div>There are not limitless employees &amp; equipment.</div><div>Even with getting assistance from Connecticut.</div><br></div><div>I try to focus on the blessing that our weather bomb was SNOW,</div><div>NOT flooding or fire.</div><div>We are mostly ok, just inconvenienced.</div><div><br></div><div>The governor also stressed if some one needed to get out for a medical necessity</div><div>not just an emergency, like for dialysis or other treatments,</div><div>they should call their local town/city hall to arrange to get the help they need.</div><div><br></div><div>He also reminded us to look out for our neighbors.</div><div><br></div><div>Remembering how much I wanted the 95° heat to go AWAY last summer!</div><div><font size="4">\U0001f642<br></font></div><div>Mrs B.</div><div><br></div><div>PS Pic- surprise under my hood- even my engine! got embedded in the snow drift<img src="cid:ii_mm2i9su60" alt="   Winter Engine2623WEB.jpg" width="387" height="289" style="margin-right: 0px;"><br> </div></div>
