[Summit] Parking

Ann,

I'm sorry if you missed my attempt at sarcasm. I thought I made myself clear when I said Those People, that I was refering to transient students. And yes, I don't think most of them are good enough to be my neighbors. Apparently you've never had 10 of them living 30 feet from your bedroom window. It's not a question of discrimination but a dislike of people who almost always are bad neighbors. I lived in the Providence College area for 17 years. I had to move out because the PC students were moving in. I'll be damned if I'll move out of Summit after 25 years because some absentee landlord is packing the house next door with immature punks.

I don't characterize all people outside of commited relationships as bad neighbors. It has been my experience as a landlord that those people in commited relationships are also commited to the neighborhood and make good tenants, while transient, unrelated roomates with no ties to the community usually make bad tenants and neighbors. This is my experience, not a generalization.

I will feel free to express my opinion (based on experience) whether it is politically correct or not.
