[Summit] snow plowing

As far as I can tell, the plowing has been done obsessively well this  
storm, a comical overreaction to last December's great Debacle.

I wish they would slash the plowing budget instead of closing libraries.

Seriously.  Black pavement, curb to curb plowing and parking bans are  
necessary only for commercial areas and  through streets.  One lane,  
snow covered side streets are good enough.  Stop whining!  So you have  
to spin your wheels a bit and go slowly.  Limit sand and salt to hills  
and intersections.  Eventually it all melts!

Once more with feeling:  Narrow Streets Are Not Dangerous!  Yes there  
must be space for vehicles to pass through, but the slower they have  
to go, the safer the street.  No one should have a license unless they  
can parallel park, back into a driveway, aim their car through a  
narrow space and correctly judge a safe speed to travel.

In every city besides weirdly hysterical Providence, cars stay parked  
along the curbs except along designated snow emergency streets.  The  
plow plows them in.  The parkers have to shovel their cars out.   
Drivers who get sick and tired of having to do that either get rid of  
their cars or save up and move to houses with their own driveways.

Me, I save my whining for how atrociously hard it can be to walk  
around with all the unshoveled sidewalks.  Danger is  having to walk  
in the street because the sidewalk is blocked.  I save my vilest  
curses for those who dump parking lot and driveway snow so as to block  
the sidewalks.
