I don't have a great deal of time to get into the discussion right now and was simply trying to make the point that we all need to throw away our labels: be they Democrat, Republican... Or Green.
I understand that OK makes it difficult for previously unqualified third parties to get on the ballot and that there is no write in option but RI has a more difficult process for delegates to the two major party conventions. Even in OK, a candidate does not need to keep individual sheets for each city and town. It is the opinion of the coordinators from the major campaigns that the Ocean State is particularly tough.

I gree we need to make political acess easier, and fairer, but to call RI
access difficult says that you are unfamiliar with places like OK where a
third party candidate has NEVER been allowed to appear on the ballot. greg
