[Summit] Summit Digest, Vol 48, Issue 20

I actually emailed this list about this woman when I moved to 4th st. (from
6th st) sometime last year.

A few google searches and the providence journal archvies led me to learn
that her mother died in a sudden car accident a few years back. I can only
assume that she has not kept up on her meds after her mother passed away. I
currently live on 4th st. and nearly every other day hear her screaming or
yelling nonsense. Her name is Anna and she lives a few houses down from me
(I live at 141 4th).

While she does appear to be harmless... one never knows. There has been an
occasion or two when she has looked directly at me as I exited my car and
stated to scream nonsenese. It can be quite unnerving. In additon, I have
witnessed the local police haul her off on more than one occasion to
who-knows-where when she yells in the middle of the night... However, she
always seems to return to the area a week or so later.

Anyway, logic tells me that due to her well-kept appearance and such that
she is somewhat lucid and can take care of herself. I do admit that it is
somewhat unnerving to hear her yell and scream in the middle of the night
while the neighborhood is sleeping. However, I dont know what can be done.
It is an unfortunate situation with no ideal solution..
