[Summit] Firewood Needed

In the past I have had fireplaces, and now we have an outdoor fire pit; I am
used to collecting downed or tossed wood of various kinds,

but if you are going to pick up your own wood it is fairly important to
learn to recognize the ones you DON'T want!

Sumac, a tree-weed, STINKS, as do some bushes, which grow quite large.

Pine and hemlock smell GREAT, but build up tars in your chimney, requiring
more frequent cleaning, and/or the increased risk of chimney fires,
according to some folks.

Good luck. I love the smell of fireplaces in the neighborhood, and miss
that we don't have one in our apt.
