Dear Neighbors,
As a follow up to my earlier comments regarding the recent incidents of strangers knocking on doors asking for "Michael" (or any other fictious person), I called Lt. Schuvulli to alert him of the situation.
He commented that in addition to taking a description of the individual, neighbors should call the non-immediate emergency number at the police department (401) 272 1111.
This sort of incident would not warrant a 911 call, but calling the alternate number would document the concern with the police.
Again, please save the date for the Crime Watch of Summit Neighborhood's (CRWSN) free "Citizens Training" on Wednesday, July 21st at 6:30 at The Miriam Hospital in the Sopkin Auditorium. Feel free to call the Neighborhood Hotline at (401) 793 4040 for more information.
Sincerely,
Monica Anderson
