I can enthusiastically recommend Lubera's Window Cleaning. Joe Lubera and
his crew do an excellent job, are fast and reliable, and their prices are
reasonable. I recommend them to all my clients, both sellers and buyers.

Summit Friends,
I am forwarding this because Lindsay Adler,
a Summit neighbor, is indeed a delightful
performer. I hesitated on whether to post
this on Market, but since I am not selling
anything, and at least two of the performances
are FREE, I felt it was OK for SNA.
Blessings,
Liberty G

Elizabeth,
One of the PCL board members has confirmed to me that this is true, and the
main impact is to the upkeep of the branch libraries. Below is an email for
an upcoming PCL meeting that will cover the issue. If you are interested in
getting involved, this meeting is probably a good start.

Subject: ***IMPORTANT COMMUNITY MEETING INVITATION***
Hello Community Residents,
I am emailing you for the purpose of inviting you to a very important
Community Meeting being held on Thursday, October 7th at 6:30 pm at the
Washington Park Library, 1316 Broad Street, 02905. Many of you have been
very helpful and supportive in the past to this library's opening and to the
Providence Community Library's (PCL) vision of maintaining a strong,
community-based library model. This model is one that is being watched
nationally as other states are monitoring our progress. More will be
addressed at the meeting on Thursday but for now, I would like to mention
two important concerns.
First, there are general structural problems at many of the PCL buildings.
We can discuss these in more detail as well as any specific problems at your
library.
Secondly and more importantly, we will be discussing a different problem.
It is the problem we're facing with Providence Public Library NOT turning
over the buildings that they agreed to do and what ramifications this could
have on all the community libraries.
As mentioned, we will be going into more detail on Thursday and your
attendance and show of support is being requested. It is crucial that we
have a good display and showing of support so if you can make it on
Thursday, you will be doing your community and your libraries a great
service.
Thank you and I hope to see you there on Thursday.

Our friends, the Haldorsen family, needs the following:
bunk beds or a trundle bed arrangement (2nd bed rolls under),
to squeeze in another bed,
for inexpensive price or free, if possible.
They can come get them.
Please call 722-7494 if you have or know of some.

The crew that used to wash our house windows has a disconnected phone
number. So Sad. I have known them it seems forever.
But I wonder if any of you have anyone else you can recommend who
does that work.
Yes, as you can see from these various calls for help.... I am trying
to keep things together this fall.
This list serve is such a boon for so many things. Elizabeth
