[Summit] gas meter placement update

Dear Neighbors,

 

Many thanks to those of you who passed on advice and information - it was
very helpful.  We have a happy ending, I hope.  I sent a follow-up e-mail
this morning to the contact at National Grid (the woman I spoke to
yesterday) asking explicitly if a high pressure system was going to be
installed at our house.  She wrote back the following:

 

"When we spoke yesterday, I mentioned that we may be moving to a high
pressure system in your neighborhood.  However, I have reviewed the project
plan and do not find any indication of a pressure upgrade in that area.  I
am sorry for the confusion. .. You received a letter because the project
will be taking place in your neighborhood and we will be working in the
street in front of your home.  However, the property at 945 Hope Street
should not be affected at this time. .."

 

Perhaps this information will be useful to others in the neighborhood who
are feeling pressured by National Grid.
