[Summit] Fountain appreciation

Today, I got a hot dog at the Chez Pascal cart for lunch and remembered I
had a great new place to go eat it ­ our fountain. There was no one there
when I arrived, just a shady bench and the sound of the water. Soon I
noticed a grackle giving himself a thorough scrubbing. Then I saw a friend
lining up shots for his Facebook page. We exchanged greetings and a bit of
news. As I circled the fountain for another look at all four faces, I saw an
older man I didn¹t know. Still, we recognized that we were both there for
the same reason ­ to experience and admire this new neighborhood wonder ­
and immediately struck up a conversation about recirculation, water
temperatures and our memories of the fountain.

I agree with all that¹s been said in praise of Jesse Polhemus and SNA in
regard to our newly activated Anthony Fountain and would add this: it¹s a
great conversation piece, too. Thanks!
