[Summit] Library seeks men for books, romance and ?

I just got this from a friend who works at the library.

The Rochambeau Branch is holding two Literary Speed Dating events and needs
more single men to mingle with all the single women signing up. Sounds like
an unparalleled opportunity for eligible gentlemen.

Literary Speed Dating takes place on two nights:
May 23 for adults in their 40s and 50s
June 13 for adults in their 20s and 30s.

The event brochure (which I can¹t forward to this list) says: ³15 dates in
one hour! Bring a book you love, hate or just want to talk about. Each
couple will be giving 4-5 minutes to talk. After the event, mutual matches
will be notified by email.  Light refreshments served.²

Attendance is free, but you must be pre-registered ­ no drop-ins will be
admitted. To reserve a spot, email: dating at provlcomlib.org.

By the way, Joe Fletcher and the Wrong Reasons are playing the Rochambeau
basement tonight at 7. Check Œem out if you can ­ raucous rockabily with
very smart original songs and great vocals from Joe. And next Thursday
another band ­ Brown Bird. Our branch library may be the East Side¹s hottest
night spot.
