[Summit] Bands Needed for Rock n Roll Half Marathon

I know we have many musicians living in the Summit neighborhood so I wanted to share this with the listserv. The Rock n Roll Half Marathon will be held on Sunday, August 7 and they need bands to perform! This is a national event held all over the country - and they expect thousands of people to attend. For those of us running we are hoping for some good music to keep us motivated! See info below:

The Rock ’n’ Roll Half Marathon series is coming to Providence on 
Aug. 7 and, since it says rock ’n’ roll, they’ve gotta have bands, 
right?If you’re a member of a band, whatever its musical style — 
alternative, pop, rock, country, blues — and you’re up for a morning 
gig, the marathon folks would like to hear from you. Bands will perform 
live on more than a dozen stages set up along the 13.1-mile course 
through the East Side and downtown Providence, to a finish at the State 
House. Send a CD, photo and bio info to Rock ’n’ Roll Providence Half
