[Summit] recent dry cleaners question

Even wool winter coats? I do my sweaters by hand, but I think you are wrong about "all natural fabrics" doing well even being washed by hand. In the past, before synthetic fabrics, many things were almost never washed, but brushed clean and spot cleaned. Usually it's the synthetics that are easier to wash, but they just leave their toxic wastes behind at the point of production, probably far, far from us. Even if I could wash my long wool coat by hand, I most probably couldn't lift it out of the tub when it's wet. Even wet blue jeans are pretty heavy. But if you have a non-toxic way of cleaning a wool winter coat, please let me know! I'll try it.
