[Summit] Crazy neighbor/driveway issue

I am planning on getting my roof done. My skinny driveway abuts a large driveway of my neighbor. Today she came out an told a prospective roofer that if anything touches her driveway during the job she will call the police and sue his company. And to tell anyone he knew that she wpuld create  problems. He left without giving  me an estimate.  
I could promise to re-seal her asphalt driveway? 
Is there any recourse? I called the city.  No luck there. Just not sure what to do. 
I think she may be unwell.
