[Summit] It's a crime!

Oops that's because I pasted the wrong link; it began with a DailyKos piece
which cited a number of sources, but I'm seeing links all over the place
now:
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/11/04/1155381/-Breaking-Romney-Paid-Zero-Taxes-From-1996-To-2009
They're obviously careful to clarify that their assessment is only
"theoretical" (whatever that means in this context). I confess that I had
never heard of a "CRUT" before (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CRUT#United_States) ...probably why I'm not a
1%er. But whatever small portion of his income this may in fact comprise,
it doesn't particularly "feel" on the up-and-up.
The loophole was apparently closed in 1997 yet somehow it's still permitted
in some cases.
This wasn't intended as a "distortion", just an addendum to a pattern of
behavior--secrecy is probably more accurate--which, most notably, involves
Mr Romney's faith and his taxes, here forever enshrined in LDS-IRS unity.
