Look people, you're not going to be interested in every thread that comes
along on this list. Lord knows I'm not. Use your delete key, e-mail
filters, whatever and be nice. We can all try to cut down on the noise if
we remember to consider if each thing we post is adding anything or is just
a restatement of something already said, but we will all slip on this point
too, it's human nature. I'm just glad each comment isn't coming by snail
mail! There'd be no trees left.
The fact that people fight and die to protect our freedoms is all the more
reason our elected officials should be held accountable to make polls
accessible to the voters and that includes reasonable wait times. They
fought and died for our right to VOTE and that is what we are talking
about! I agree that 30 to even 60 minutes in a major election year is not
unreasonable but we have had reports of waits in the neighborhood of 2+
hours which is not.
