[Summit] SNA is wrong

I served on the SNA board for 15 years and know that the board consists of many hard working volunteers who are trying  to improve our community.  If you agree with them get involved and let them know. If you disagree get involved and voice your concerns.  How easy it is to be critical from the sidelines.

this is what this is about, SNA thinks it speaks for the neighborhood
when the park planning for the fountain at lippit occurred, SNA did all the input
UP TO A POINT

SNA thought it was fine to cut trees down!!!

When some of us objected - we were told that we should live with it, our opinion was not that important and 
when the fountain was working, we would learn to live with the cut trees.

the leader of this project and way of thinking was that guy Jessie Poledicmas


but, when the tree cutting started, the REAL summit neighborhood stood up and said NO
so, the trees weren't cut down.

that fountain project will not last - someone is going to get hurt, the settlement will be big enough to stop the fountain

and some of the trees were cut down

better yet, guess what the next idea for lippit was:  community garden.  And guess who wanted to do it
Poledicmas.  But, the SNA org figured out that they better reach out this time.  An sure enough, people said no.

and there was no "community" (very small definition of community).  Now, once again we see the idea for a community garden.  
I suspect Poledicmas is somewhere in those weeds.
