I'm glad that your kids are enjoying the park. Again, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, my issue is the size, scale and volume of these dumped items which have turned our beautiful little park into a space that looks more like a dump. My boys (8 and 11) still go to the park but can't play whiffle ball, soccer or touch football like they used to. They and their neighborhood friends feel like they being pushed out by all of the stuff. I want my kids to remain kids as long as possible and the fact that they want to continue to play in the park is a blessing.  Their ability to continue to enjoy the park that they enjoyed as small children shouldn't be discounted.  

I am happy to participate in any forum on this particular topic.
