Trash at the park is also offensive from food that is rotting and from dirty diapers. To single out a group of folks for smells seems a bit unfair and prejudice.

As a dog owner, I do carry my pups poop home, though on very rare occasions will deposit it in a City Owned residential trash can if the trash has not been picked up so as not to infringe on the resident.  However, nothing gets under my crawl more that poop that is not picked up.  It is bad press for dog owners that are trying to do the right thing and it is just plain gross (especially on the park green).  So, as someone said earlier, better that it is picked up.
