[Summit] Summit Gubernatorial Candidate Forum - THIS Wednesday, July 30

A final reminder that Summit Neighborhood Association has organized a RI
Gubernatorial Candidate Forum to be held THIS Wednesday.

If you attended our Mayoral/State Rep forum last week, you notice two
things: it was hot and it was packed.  This week, we have made arrangements
for the A/C to be on ahead of time, but we recommend that you arrive in
time to get a good seat.  This forum is for you, but there will be people
coming from all over the state to watch the candidates for governor.

The facts:

Who: Confirmed participants include Kenneth Block, Allan Fung, Todd Giroux,
Clay Pell, Gina Raimondo, and Angel Taveras (all candidates involved in
contested primary races)

What: Candidate forum hosted by Summit's own Thomas Schmeling.  We'll have
light snacks, and the opportunity to make a donation to the organization.

When: THIS Wednesday, July 30 from 7-9pm

Where: Summit Commons, 99 Hillside Avenue

As far as we can tell, no other neighborhood association plans to host all
of these candidates in their community.  But we did!  That speaks to the
importance of our neighborhood and the candidates' willingness to express
their viewpoints to our community of voters.

It also speaks to the tenacity and fearlessness of SNA!  So please consider
