[Summit] Meeting on crime

Hi Lee, eh and everybody:
     We have had meetings with the police and have made attempts to form neighborhood-watch groups. Miriam Hospital has been very cooperative in supporting watch groups, but we have had difficulty in lining up people willing to commit to forming such organizations. Miriam and SNA have how-to charts and materials available – all we need are the neighbors to step up.
     That said, the SNA board can certainly discuss having a meeting with the new district commander, the chief and the mayor. The next scheduled board meeting is the third Monday of August and we can put it on our agenda.
