[Summit] Crime Watch/Block Captains

Hey all,

I had a thought.  Why don't we have a meeting of block captains and people
acting is that sort of capacity, at a time/place convenient to as many of
us as possible?  I can probably arrange a meeting place.  Monica has been
absolutely wonderful, but there have been more times than not when I have
been unable to attend the meetings at Miriam.  I think it's reasonable to
expect we can take on some of the organizing, if even just for exchange of
information and good ideas.

Are there people out there who are considering some sort of block capt
role, but would like to start w/ an abridged version?  Things could be
pretty simple, w/ just a smart phone and a few hrs. of leg work to put it
together.  Maybe two are better than one.

All mentionded above, please contact me off list, so we can start a
conversation.  There were a few very interesting pts. made in the meeting
Tu. night @ NB that are worth considering.   More later.

PS  I hope I am not wrong in assuming this doesn't have to all take place
in front of the entire list.  I know at least some of us like our privacy,
so I hope/expect (?) all to honor that.
