[Summit] New Year's at the Parlour

In case you want to stay extra local -- there's very likely going to be a
line up of music and fun again this year at the Parlour on N Main St. Last
year we did a Mummer's Play featuring the Providence Wholebellies and
"guest actors" playing wild acoustic roots music in full Mummer regalia,
then a set by local Celtic folk/rock band The Gnomes, then a few other
bands, each one a little louder and rowdier as the night progressed. There
was a good range of something for everyone, from the family-friendly
acoustic Wholebellies at 7pm to dance bands that kept things moving well
past midnight for those who want the full New Year's shebang. Not sure what
we'll cook up this year but stay tuned, I'll announce when its decided.
