Due to excessive heat, tonight's Park-keeping Event is rescheduled.
Join volunteers from the Blackstone Parks Conservancy on
Thursday, August 18th, as we clear black swallow-wort from
the woods edge from 6 to 7:30pm.
It’s fun… and we need your help!
Your help is welcome for a few minutes or the
whole time.
Meet at the Paterson Street Playground, by Rhode Island Avenue, Providence, RI 02906.

The event will culminate with the moon rise over the Seekonk river!
Howling, chanting, singing, dancing encouraged.
Bring:
Chairs or blanket, picnic dinner or snacks, long pants and
closed shoes (for trailwalks), insect repellent.
At Blackstone Field, across from the Narragansett Boat Club (2 River Road/aka River Drive, Providence, RI 02906).
Saturday, September 24, River Ride on the Seekonk.
Enjoy a boat ride up the Seekonk River and learn about the fish, birds and other wildlife that live in, on, and near the river.
This event is co-hosted by the Blackstone Parks Conservancy and Save the Bay.
Seating is first come first serve so arrive early!
Join us at the Narragansett Boat Club dock
(2 River Road, near Angell Street, Providence, RI 02906).
