6-10 Highway Redesign Workshop
Tuesday, August 30, 6-8:30pm, 1655 Westminster Street
 The City of Providence's Public Workshop for the Redesign of Route 6-10 is this Tuesday, August 30, 6-8:30pm at Asa Messer Elementary School (1655 Westminster Street, Providence).

The approach and design of this highway rebuild project will have a significant impact on the health and vitality of our west side neighborhoods.

The restoration of Route 6-10 – running through Olneyville, Federal Hill, West End, and Silver Lake (to name a few) – has the potential to transform a broken antiquated highway system into a modern transit route that is green, includes bike and alternate transportation modes, and reconnects neighborhoods that were severed from each other over 50 years ago when the highway was built.

Please come and learn about the project, and share your ideas and vision for what this highway could become.
