Please note that, although this coming Thursday 20 April is a regular Gallery Night Providence – when the Providence Art Club would normally stay open late – that won’t be true this week.
However, not only the independent artists’ cooperative next door and down the hill, but the RISD Museum of Art across the churchyard from the Art Club, should be open from 5 to 9 p.m. this Thursday night as usual.
[The Providence Art Club is on Thomas Street, which is the one-block road that connects the end of Angell Street (at Benefit) with the beginning of Steeple Street (at North Main). The Club faces the white-steepled First Baptist Church in America, and beyond the Church and across Waterman Street, the Rhode Island School of Design campus.]
Have a good week,
Dave
