I'm passing this on not for its specifically religious or ethnic content, but because it has many items of general secular or artistic interest.
If anyone has similar news from East Side institutions such as the YMCA/YWCA, the Vedanta Society or the Buddhist centre, please share them with us. 

The JCC/Jewish Alliance is at 401 Elmgrove Avenue, facing Brown Stadium and Nathan Bishop School. As you can see below, there will be a grand reopening on Wednesday, May 24th.
