Join us for our Winter Duck Walk featuring Dan Berard, including a Free Nature Program for Children
Sunday, February 11th, 1:30 – 3:00 pm
Start at Narragansett Boat Club, across from Blackstone Field (2 River Road, Providence, RI 02906)
Dan Berard, expert naturalist and ornithologist, will lead a walk along the river to spot and identify the many types of winter, migratory ducks that come to visit the Seekonk River.
Children can join the Nature Program (pre-register here) part of our Exploring Blackstone Park Through the Seasons, or enjoy the walk with their parents. There will be hot chocolate and free coloring books at the Boathouse after both activities. Bring your binoculars, spotting scopes, or camera.

Blackstone Parks Conservancy Annual Meeting at Governor Henry Lippitt House Museum, at the corner of Hope and Angell streets. Street parking available or at the Wheeler School. We will serve refreshments, hold a brief business meeting, then enjoy a talk by a special, soon-to-be-announced speaker.
