[Summit] 4 Events tomorrow (Sunday) +1 correction

Hello yet again,
I just got word this afternoon of two more events tomorrow — a new book “celebration” at Paper Nautilus (no. 3) and the Summit Neighborhood Association’s annual yard sale (no.4), which I’m adding to two other events that I forwarded yesterday (from 1. the Providence Art Club and 2. DriveElectric). (I would have preferred to show the new items first, but there are technical reasons that I posted them afterwards.)
¶ My correction is to yesterday’s notice of the Elmwood Neighborhood Association’s meeting about the Community Center. In my introduction (although not in the notice itself), I said that Sept. 29 was the Monday after next; it is of course the Sunday after tomorrow.
Although I most likely won’t be at any of these four events tomorrow, they do echo the chorus of the Statler Brothers’ [Counting] Flowers on the Wall — “Don’t Tell Me I’ve Nothing to Do!”
Have a good weekend,
Dave

| Join us this Sunday for festive openings of two exhibitions featuring watercolors, oils, weavings, and fine furnishings! Light refreshments will be served and the artists will be on hand to discuss their work.
On view in Maxwell Mays Gallery, we will have work by photographer Reenie Barrow, painters Johanna McKenzie and William Heydt, and furniture designer and maker Timothy Philbrick.
In Dodge House Gallery, we will feature a solo show of work by Craig Masten. Craig's exhibition was written up in the Warwick Beacon.

2._If anyone is interested in electric cars, a free event.
National Drive Electric Week, September 14-22, 2019, is a nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of today's widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlight the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more. They are fun to drive, are less expensive and more convenient to fuel than gasoline vehicles, are better for the environment, promote local jobs, and reduce our dependence on foreign oil.
Green Energy Consumers hosting its 2nd Annual Ride & Drive at the Boathouse in Roger Williams Park! We bring this event to you with the help of SustainPVD. Our other supporters include the Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources (OER), Ocean State Clean Cities, National Grid and the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (DEM).
Day: Sunday, September 22, 2019
Time: 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Location: Boathouse, Roger Williams Park
1000 Elmwood Ave
Providence RI 02907
The event will take place in the u-shaped driveway at the Boathouse in Roger Williams Park. Local dealers will be invited to bring cars for EV enthusiasts to test drive and we'll also have plenty of our EV Ambassadors (EV owners) on-hand to answer any and all EV related questions. We're welcoming all EV owners to come and show off their cars so please register your participation using the button at the top of this page and we can't wait to meet you there!
In addition to the ride and drive, we will have educational booths from all the offices mentioned above. Please check them out while waiting for your ride & drive. And of course, we'll be providing some lawn games for your entertainment.
We encourage those planning to attend to register: https://driveelectricweek.org/event-attend.php?eventid=2006
Switch to electric without switching up your everyday life. As with any lifestyle change, your routines will adapt—but we’d venture to say it will be for the better. See how the performance, ease and comfort of electric cars can help you drive change. https://driveelectricus.com/
