Sorry to send this repeat announcement. One close reader wondered why the opening was taking place after the show was over... The opening is on Gallery Night, next Thursday, the 17th of September (not November!). I've changed the image above to give you another taste of the pleasure that awaits.
Periphery Space @ Paper Nautilus is pleased to announce Within a Liminal Space, Monoprints by Denny Moers.
The work in this show seems timely. Not only was it created during the time of Covid-19, it evokes feelings of distance, absence, and the haze of memories we all feel. Moers' process is an active one, with chemicals and developer being painted or sprayed directly on the print. One might imagine such techniques would obscure what is there, but they do the opposite: bringing color, intensity, and focus to the images.
Within a Liminal Space can be viewed now through November 1st at Paper Nautilus: Wednesday through Sunday 12-5pm, or by appointment.
A small socially distanced opening will take place September 17th from 5-7pm. Doors will be open to the space in front of the shop and numbers inside limited.
We hope you can visits soon to see this lovely work in person.
