[Summit] Providence Census?

First of all, I believe that students are counted where they RESIDE on April 20, not where they happen to be located on that day. The vast majority of undergraduate students in Providence do not reside in Providence.

Secondly, almost all students were NOT on campus on April 20, 2020, since most of them were sent home around March 15 when the COVID epidemic changed everything virtually overnight.

Census records where people are living on a single specific date—it was April 1, 2020 for this census. If any students were not included in the Providence count, it was because they didn’t fill out the census. Even so, Census workers go to great lengths to find people who didn’t fill out their own forms, via other kinds of records, like utility bills, school registrations, car registrations, and more. Yes, I’m sure some got missed, but certainly not the bulk of such residents.

I saw that the population of Providence is 191,000, based on the 2020 census. My guess is that number doesn't include the  college students who live here September to June. Does anyone know that number? Ie, students. Just curious.
