[Summit] Fw: recommendation for private water line replacement

 Hello again,
Here’s the slightly-edited correspondence I had with Andy Pion at Providence Water about David Walsh (who works for W. Walsh contractors in Massachusetts).
Hope this helps; of course, the experiences that others have had replacing their own home lead water  lines would also be useful.
Dave

Good morning David, Thank you for the accolades concerning W. Walsh and their work in your neighborhood.  We are also very happy with the work they do for us. It's nice to hear good things every once in a while, rather than all complaints.
I have included both David Walsh and Chris Walsh's e-mail contact in this email.
If you would like to contact David Walsh his number is 508-294-1005.
Thank you,

Although I didn’t go through this myself, when Wayland Square’s public pipes were being repaired or replaced by Providence Water, almost everyone was extremely pleased with Dave Walsh, the private contractor who followed ProvWater around offering to replace the property-owner’s side of the lead piping.
I met him several times when arranging neighborhood meetings about the pipe replacement, and he seemed to be very friendly and polite, as did his workers. Those who did engage his services found the same, and also liked both the quality of his work and what they considered to be very reasonable charges.
Unfortunately, I don’t still have his contact information, although there is a Walsh contracting in nearby Massachusetts.
Perhaps someone at Providence Water can help. I’m blind-carbon-copying (BCC’ing) this to the contacts I had at Providence Water at that time (over five years ago), but I’m not sure if they’re still working at the same jobs.
Have a good afternoon,
Dave
