| Weather permitting, we will continue to demolish the Huntington Avenue Viaduct along Route 6 East over Amtrak, between Hartford Avenue and Route 10, Monday-Friday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. We apologize in advance as these activities may cause loud and heavy vibrations. This work, which should take three to four weeks, was scheduled at night to lessen safety concerns with daytime highway traffic and Amtrak.
Weekday operations along Route 10 South and Route 6 East from 6:30 am. to 2:30 p.m. for next week include substructure construction at the Tobey Street and Harris Avenue bridges and concrete work at the Route 10 North to Route 6 West flyover bridge and at the Broadway Bridge. Storm drain installations are also scheduled along Route 10 South and at the Plainfield Street on-ramp, as well as demolition at the Westminster Street Bridge.
