|  Providence Citywide Parking Ban To
Begin 6:00 AM Monday, February 1, Until Further Notice
Dear David, 

I hope this message finds you and your family well. 

Due to winter storm conditions, a citywide parking ban will go into effect at 6:00 AM, tomorrow, February 1st, until further notice. Residents with overnight parking passes are advised that they cannot park on the street during the duration of the citywide parking ban. The city has issued warnings that all vehicles parked on the street in violation of the citywide parking ban will be ticketed and towed to ensure that roadways can be plowed.

Roadways will be pretreated ahead of the expected snowfall. To report a non-emergency issue, please dial 3-1-1,

Garbage and recycling pickup in Providence scheduled for Monday, February 1 will be made on Tuesday, February 2, and all other trash collection for the week of February, 1 will follow a one-day delayed schedule. Providence Public Schools will be holding classes remotely on Monday, February 1. 

If you experience a power outage, please contact National Grid at 800-322-3223. Additionally, please do not touch downed powerlines, and please be sure to report downed lines to National Grid.
