Okay, the proposed trucking center just of Main Street is way worse than I had imagined! Not only are they hoping to build a trucking center with inadequate infrastructure changes, now I learn they are moving contaminated soil and trying to close and sell the only park in the city district.

I’ll be contacting anyone and everyone I can think of to have this project reviewed, planned, and executed properly.
Please, if you’re concerned, contact anyone you can think of to get this thing slowed down (at a minimum).

> Hopefully, someone in Pawtucket can discourage this proposed project. Bradley VanDerStad has been working to make neighborhood residents aware of the situation, and he started a petition. The city of Providence is finally taking an interest in North Main St; the report is available at https://www.providenceri.gov/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/NMS-Final-Report-20220615.pdf
