[Summit] High National Grid Gas Usage

No new meter here. We saw a huge spike in January, I assume from the
sustained subzero temps. I do think it's been colder this winter than at
least the last couple -- we had a couple of 60-degree days last January,
for example. Our December bill was not markedly higher than it has been in
years past, but January is definitely the largest gas bill we've received
in nine years of living in this house.
National Grid's website will break down the bill for you. Here's an example
from my most recent bill (with numbers redacted). For the record, "weather"
was by a wide margin the biggest expense, with "bill period" in second
place.
