[Summit] fountain/pumps

what size/type pump does it need  to run recirculating?  2500gph? Would it need a submersible pump or one that runs dry (and has a venting fan)?  
Disclaimer:
I'm not a plumber or an electrition (I'm just an ICU nurse), but  I have a 220gallon saltwater aquarium which I built, wired, and 'plumbed'.  I'd be willing to lend a hand.  That park fountain would be beautiful if it was running.  Let me know.
