Not sure whether it's legitimate or not, but was informed not to let them in if they ask to use your bathroom (which of course, he did ask & I didn't allow it). Was told that they may be casing your home, & know someone who was in fact robbed while a couple of them were "using the bathroom".

I did buy a magazine from these folks once and never received it.
I think the young folks are legitmately selling, but are working for sleezoids. I told one young lady that there had been 6 groups so far that summer and that even if I wanted to buy from her I couldn't buy that many. She really worked at holding back the tears. I told her that she is working for sleezes and she would be better off working a different kind of job.
I think the 'magazine' company is conning both the sales folks and the buyer.

This is a good thought---as I too have met up with these people from time to time as well...Do you think either the police or the crime watch committee would also be interested in this scenario? Howie

In the last few years, I've had several young men come to my door mid-day during the summer months. Ostensibly, these men are selling magazines "to improve themselves" through a point system but they never seem to have any materials or anything official looking. My instinct has always been that something isn't right about this but I can't quite figure out what it is. Given the recent break-ins, I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this?
