 Hi all,

Just forty minutes ago, my doorbell rang, followed by a rapid knock at 
the...as if I were not fast enough to answer the bell! My husband opened the 
door to find a man wanting to sell magazines.

When he was told that we were not interested, he left, and walked down the 
street.

I called the police, only to find out that these people have been checked 
out, and do have a permit to sell magazines. I was told that if I wanted to 
do anything, that I'd have to call the company. (The police said that there 
had been four calls in the past; and that an officer had been sent out. He 
did not ellaborate as to when this was.)

I would think that 8:00 pm, on a Saturday night, is highly inappropriate for 
this type of thing to be going on. I am open to ideas.
