[Summit] networking question to scientists...

It's been YEARS (30?) since I was a research lab tech, building experiments
in Boston start ups.

Where do techies get the good, used stuff now, here? around New England?
I am looking to buy an ~2MegPix (1.3MP?) 23mm USB2 scope camera that WORKS
WITH A MAC; must be used, I'm pretty sure, because these things are *
absurdly* expensive compared to similar technology. More than 2MP would be
great but sooo much $$$!! in hundreds! ridiculous. You can buy twice the
power, new, in a whole camera for that.(I might try using my own camera to
start, but it is pretty heavy compared to the small microscope I ordered, so
that is bound to be extra problematic.)

Also I am interested in a Geiger counter or simple incident radiation
sensor.
