[Summit] rezoning providence

As many of you know, Providence is revamping its zoning ordinance.  On March 4th, the Department of Planning held a public meeting at which the first public draft of the new ordinance was released.

The zoning ordinance places constraints on how and where businesses, colleges, hospitals and individuals can develop, or redevelop, land within the city.  It is an important document that will shape the future of Providence.

I was told that there will be a series of public meetings in April to collect public feedback on this draft.
